Back in Novemeber of 2005 Blue Heron Turf was given a unique opportunity. ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was
going to be helping out a family in Sandpoint, ID. They wanted to know if we would be willing to help. It seemed like
a great opportunity to help in the community, so we packed up a truckload of sod and headed for Idaho. The sheer
number of people that turned out to help this family was amazing, and it felt great to be able to participate in some
way in the effort. The Hebert Family's home was transformed from a half-finished basement home in the brush, to a gorgeous cedar-sided house with beautiful grounds. It was an opportunity we wouldn't have missed for anything.
